The multivariate meaning of the LIMMIT's Logo refers to the Egyptian Shen, which the pharaohs, in pictorial representations, protected with their hands and which Horus carries in their claws – Heaven (circle) and Earth (crossbar) united (“ropes”, representing humans, joining the two), but also, later, when the circle was lengthened vertically, it came to give the cartouche where the symbols of the Egyptian writing were written. The colors are those of the Bial Foundation. You can guess the Greek letter psi, jagged, in white, but also a stylized flower (red petals and blue leaves), recalling the "blossoming" advocated by positive psychology, as well as the two cerebral hemispheres (red) and the "wings" (blues), which allow you to fly in the imagination.
The anagram – LIMMIT – represents not only the name of the Laboratory and its objectives, but also the indefectible, subtle relationship between mind and matter, by showing the two letters “M” joined together.
