Course Specialization in Medical Homeopathy in 2006 at the University of Seville, Spain. XI Course of Acupuncture, Pharmacopoeia and Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Official College of Physicians of Seville, Spain, in 2004. Postgraduate Course in Laser Acupuncture, Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar, University of Porto, 2005. Internship in Clinical Oncology, Lukas Klinik, Arlesheim, Switzerland, in 2005. Member of the Official College of Physicians of Huelva, Spain. Co-founder and President of the Portuguese Association of Humanitarian and International Aid (APAHI – Associação Portuguesa de Ajuda Humanitária Internacional, ONGD). Co-founder of the Portuguese Medical Association of Homeopathy (AMPHSH). Member of the Portuguese Society of Medical Acupuncture (SPMA), with a Competence in Acupuncture issued by the Portuguese Medical Association. Private clinical activity in General Medicine and Homeopathy, since 1989, in Madeira, Lisbon, Algarve and Spain, after exercising in 1989 General Practice and Family Medicine at the Health Centre of Olivais.

Research Interests

Research on Homeopathic Medical Treatment of Infectious and  Epidemic Diseases, been developing research in the field since 1999 and currently leading research in this area in the team Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Science of Consciousness & Integrative Medicine, in the LIMMIT Laboratory, where he is Resident Investigator. Other interests in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Psycho-Oncology, German New Medicine.
